Shark Scrapper – an ethical business giving back to our planet – is on a mission to reduce what ends up in landfills, beaches, and oceans by redirecting materials to resale, reuse or recycling streams. We are registered and certified as a secondary metal recycler (SMR) and second-hand dealer in the state of Florida.
To accomplish our mission, we:
1. Buy/Sell e-waste and other scrap material
2. Support shark research through donations to vetted organizations
3. Educate the public through this website and our social media
Shark Scrapper is a service disable veteran owned small business owned and operated by Ernie Petzrick, a retired US Navy Captain.
Armed with degrees in ocean engineering, oceanography, and an MBA plus a decade of experience in business and scrapping/recycling, Ernie started Shark Scrapper LLC in 2019 to pursue his passion –
